Production Support Analyst (Secret Clearance )

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Support Analyst to monitor and maintain critical production applications, ensure operational continuity, and resolve technical incidents impacting end-users. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, SQL proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders in a high-security environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor Production Systems: Proactively track applications, scheduled jobs, and system alerts to identify and mitigate issues.

Incident Management: Receive, triage, and resolve incidents reported by end-users; escalate to development teams when necessary.

Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and diagnose complex technical/process issues to prevent recurrence.

Documentation: Develop Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve team efficiency.

SQL & Database Support: Write and optimize queries; analyze tables, procedures, triggers, and permissions.

Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, timely updates to end-users and cross-functional teams.

Compliance: Adhere to Department of State IT policies, security protocols, and clearance requirements.

Required Qualifications

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (mandatory).

3+ years of experience in production support, application support, or NOC roles.

Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, debugging database objects).

Experience with incident management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.

Excellent written/verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

ITIL Foundation certification.

Familiarity with DevOps tools (Splunk, Jenkins, etc.).

Prior experience in government, defense, or diplomatic IT environments.Company Description
