Intro: At Conway Dressings, we’ve been owned and operated by the same family since 1876. Conway crafts the highest quality salad dressings, sauces, and mayonnaise, for a nationwide network of hotels, clubs, restaurants, national chains, airlines, cruise ships, etc. We are seeking an experienced Foodservice National Sales Manager to manage and lead Conway Sales Teams to effectively develop and grow Conway’s branded and custom recipe business in the Southern region of the United States.

Title: National Sales Manager (NSM) reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing (VPSM).

Region: North American (USA)

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and strategic National Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations within Conway Salad Dressings. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, optimize market penetration, and enhance customer engagement. You will lead a team of sales professionals, foster a culture of performance and accountability while collaborating cross-functionally to align our sales initiatives with broader company objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve national sales targets.

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sale representatives, ensuring they have the tools and training necessary to succeed.

Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders providing exceptional service and support.

Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to team members to drive continual improvement.

Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure alignment of promotional activities and product launches.

Conduct regular training and development sessions for sales staff.

Conduct regular training and development sessions for sales staff. Develop Sales Quotas and strategies for achievement.

Oversee and Drive National Account Identification, Engagement, Close, and Maintain

Manage a Sales Team working Remotely Nationwide

Ability to plan, work and drive sales at Trade Shows Nationwide

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

5+ years of experience in sales management or a related role, with a proven history of exceeding sales targets.

Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and customer relationship management.

Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decision making.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and people skills.

Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.

Preferred:

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing sales teams with authentic caring and empathetic approach.

Prior professional kitchen experience, restaurant management, or other culinary experience beneficial.

Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

Strong familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Podio.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations

Experience with data analysis tools to derive actionable insights from sales performance metrics.
