Junior Mongo DBA - Toronto - Hybrid The Job This role is based in Toronto and requires a hybrid work model – a mix of onsite presence and work-from-home flexibility.
We are looking for a Junior MongoDB Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team.
In this position, you’ll be part of a collaborative delivery team, supporting projects across various industries and helping shape the way organizations manage data.
You don’t need to be an expert – we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, energy, and a strong desire to learn . You’ll receive mentorship and training, including opportunities to develop deep expertise in MongoDB.
Must Have Requirements: 2–5 years of IT experience, preferably in database administration or backend development roles Some exposure to or familiarity with MongoDB (hands-on experience is a plus, but not mandatory) Passion to learn new technologies and take initiative Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset About You You're early in your tech career and eager to grow.
You may have touched MongoDB in past roles or personal projects and are now looking to build serious expertise.
You enjoy solving technical problems, asking questions, and continuously improving.
If you have experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) or other databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), that’s great – but your curiosity and willingness to be coached are what will make you successful in this role.
