Responsibilities

Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and their guests.

Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.

Use proper table-setting techniques.

Serve on the tray line, placing foods on the resident's trays according to the instructions on the menu.

Check menus for diet, serving size, and any written instructions.

Assure all work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Dining Services.

Qualifications

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively

Ability to work in close cooperation with residents and guests

Perform all assigned tasks by our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisor.

Follow work assignments, and work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks.

Staff Development

Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes as required. Attend and participate in scheduled orientation programs and activities.

Attend and participate in facility in-servicing programs as instructed.
