Job Duties

Lead cross-functional program teams (engineering, operations, quality, finance) using a matrix-style organizational model

Drive program execution across cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication and ongoing stakeholder updates

Develop detailed program work-breakdown structures (WBS) and integrated program schedules

Generate and manage program budgets, including labor, materials, and other direct costs, in collaboration with functional leads

Provide internal and external program status updates, including earned value metrics, risk assessments, and schedule tracking

Coordinate internal design reviews and ensure alignment with technical requirements, program milestones, and customer expectations

Prepare and deliver formal customer reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, MRR) and lead the submission of related contractual deliverables

Ensure timely closure of action items and deliverables across all phases of the program

Contribute to new business pursuits by supporting bids and proposals, generating cost estimates, and drafting compliance and management volumes

Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize program objectives and resolve resource conflicts

Conduct regular executive briefings using standard reporting tools and dashboards

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering, applied science, or a related technical field

8+ years of experience managing technical hardware programs in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability systems

Familiarity with the development lifecycle of RF, microwave, or advanced electronics components

Strong background in program planning, team leadership, and performance management

Experience working with customer contracts, technical specifications, and compliance documentation

Demonstrated ability to manage cost and schedule performance using EVMS or similar frameworks

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to executive leadership and external stakeholders

Knowledge of quality systems such as AS9100 and relevant documentation standards

Ability to lead both technical and non-technical contributors across multiple disciplines

Skilled in risk management, schedule analysis, and multi-program coordination

Preferred Experience

Experience with space-qualified hardware programs, including GEO, LEO, or defense satellite systems

Familiarity with subsystem-level requirements in communications, radar, or electronic warfare

Understanding of contractual review processes and compliance documentation

Technical literacy in RF, microwave, or related signal chain components

Prior experience interfacing with government or prime contractors in aerospace programs

Proficiency with program management tools and software

Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain US Secret clearance.
