Design Engineer Responsibilities:

Design tools and molds from surface or solid CAD files

Prepare files for additive manufacturing (slicing, optimization)

Manage projects through design, production, and delivery

Assist with mold assembly and shop troubleshooting

Perform basic quality assurance checks (e.g., scanning, vacuum testing)

Design Engineer Qualifications:

Proficiency in CATIA (surfacing and parametric modeling)

Experience in tool and mold design

Knowledge of composites, additive manufacturing, or CNC machining

Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., laser scanning, probing)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
