About French Cowboys

French Cowboys is a Texas-based hospitality brand founded by two Franco-American friends who grew up in Europe and fell in love with Texas. We’re passionate about reviving neglected properties in iconic towns - each within two hours of a major city - breathing new life into these forgotten gems and transforming them into charming getaways.

We believe getting away shouldn’t be so hard. That’s why we’re creating fun, design-forward boutique hotels that our guests can enjoy without breaking the bank. By bridging the gap between corporate chains and high-end resorts, we offer thoughtfully curated stays at reasonable prices.

Currently, we manage 7 boutique hotels (200 rooms) across Austin & the Texas Hill Country, with plans to add 4 more hotels (~200 rooms) across Texas over the next 24 months. Our 10-year vision is to become the leading operator of boutique hospitality in Texas, spanning hotels, restaurants, bars, concert venues, and beyond.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, highly creative opportunity for a storyteller who’s passionate about design and hospitality, and who understands how to turn that process into compelling, social-first content.

As Content Creator, you will document the renovation and transformation of our newest hotel property, Heidelberg Lodges. You’ll be on-site regularly, filming with your iPhone, crafting the narrative in real time - from construction progress and design milestones to candid interviews with contractors, designers, and the French Cowboys corporate team.

This role is all about storytelling: capturing moments that make people care, sharing them in a way that drives excitement, and owning the content strategy that builds buzz ahead of the hotel’s launch. You’ll be both the creative director and the executional lead: filming, editing, and posting across channels.
