Position Overview:

GEO Lab technician involves analyzing geological samples in a controlled laboratory environment.

Duties:

Perform variety of test on soils using ASTM and TxDot methods

Ensure all tests are perform accurately and in a timely manner

Record test results neatly

Maintain lab equipment (cleaning, calibrating, organizing)

Communicate with lab manager regarding samples and testing

Work well in a team environment

Follow safety protocols

Be able to lift materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.

Attention to detail

Education/Qualifications:

College grad (not required)

High School Grad / GED equivalent
