Our Financial client is looking for individuals to come in and work with contract owners and people across the firm who are engaging third parties that provide services to the firm. Work with them to determine the risk to the firm. Every agreement brings a little risk so they have to document what they think could be a risk and make sure they are doing the due diligence on the vendor so the firm and our clients are safe. They identify risk and facilitate reviews of third parties to protect the firm. Team of 10+ people typically. They need someone with a strong Risk management background within the banking/financial industry to be the first line of defense for the business units. They will be identifying risks and then helping the business owners understand the risk by helping them research and analyze the risk. The team is also in the process of migrating their risk tasks to Ariba so any experience working with that tool would be a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Requirements

• Risk management experience in some form

• Regulatory industry experience a big plus

• Knowing how to work in an atmosphere where attention to detail is very important

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (any risk, finance or procurement field of study or background would be a plus)

Nice to have skills:

• Risk management and risk mitigation experience would be great but not required

• SAP Ariba (Cloud version) experience a plus but not required

• Coupa Risk Assess experience a plus but not required

• Understanding how to work in a remote environment
