Job Details
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Project Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative Construction company that focuses on commercial TI work. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a challenging environment, is passionate about construction, and has a keen eye for detail. The Permanent Project Engineer will report directly to the Project Manager and will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from conception to completion.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and design phase of commercial tenant improvements projects, ensuring that all specifications and regulations are met
Coordinate and oversee the work of the construction team and subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are carried out according to plan
Review and approve project drawings and specifications, making necessary changes when required
Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Monitor the progress of the project, making sure that milestones are met and addressing any issues that arise
Conduct quality control checks, ensuring that the work meets the required standards and that safety regulations are followed
Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, providing them with updates on the project status and any challenges encountered
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals, contributing to the overall success of the project
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
1 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the Construction industry
Commercial tenant improvement experience
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects
