Machine OperatorJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator who will play a crucial role in our aerospace manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with band saws and forklifts, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure quality control.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain saws ranging from 4'-20' long cuts, processing materials from .019 to 10".
Accurately apply metal to customer orders and process material according to work order specifications.
Maintain processing equipment in a safe and clean condition, ensuring the area is orderly.
Complete all required information entry accurately.
Perform visual quality control checks to ensure products meet standards.
Operate a sit-down forklift efficiently and safely.
Read and interpret tape measures accurately.
Perform other tasks as assigned.Essential Skills
Previous experience using a band saw for cutting steel.
Ability and experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting tape measures.
Attention to detail and ability to perform visual quality control.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong attendance and work history with regards to tenure.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Work Environment
Work in a large raw material supplier facility where materials are stored, cut, and shipped to customers. The environment is fast-paced, employing over 60 individuals on the floor. Enjoy flexible shift options with differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The facility is located in Auburn, WA, with operations spanning multiple buildings.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $24.25/hr.
