We are seeking an organized, customer-focused, and proactive Assistant Store Manager to oversee and support daily operations across multiple locations. This role is vital in ensuring high service standards, cleanliness, and safety while managing staff, inventory, and overall customer satisfaction.
Job Duties:
Oversee daily store operations across multiple locations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and service excellence.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and reduce costs.
Recruit, train, and onboard new employees, ensuring they meet company expectations.
Develop and manage efficient staff schedules, optimizing labor costs while maintaining coverage.
Assign tasks, supervise performance, and provide coaching to enhance productivity.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer concerns and in-store issues.
Implement strategies to improve the overall customer experience.
Handle escalated complaints professionally and efficiently.
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure register accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and procure necessary supplies and over-the-counter products.
Ensure stores remain clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations.
Oversee Drop-off Laundry Services to ensure timely and high-quality service.
Enforce security measures to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
Conduct moderate travel within Columbus to oversee and support multiple locations.
Ensure all locations uphold consistent standards of service and efficiency.
Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed.
Support phone inquiries and operational needs outside of scheduled hours.
Take on additional responsibilities as necessary to contribute to overall business success.
Requirements:
Previous experience in retail or store management preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
Experience in hiring, training, and scheduling staff.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
Pass background check and drug screen.
Job Details:
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Days: Tuesday – Saturday or Wednesday – Sunday
Open to overtime and on-call support as needed
Must be able to travel within the Columbus metro area
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
