We are currently hiring a Force Plate / Transducer Assembly Technician for a full-time, first-shift opportunity in a precision electronics manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals with strong fine-motor skills, attention to detail, and experience in micro-soldering or electronics assembly. Technicians will assemble and prepare force-measuring transducers used in advanced sensor technology, with a focus on quality and consistency.
Job Duties:
Prepare transducer bodies for strain gage placement and bonding using a sandblaster and various cleaning agents
Mark transducer blanks to ensure gages are precisely placed in the required position and orientation
Perform precise adhesive bonding of the strain gage and wiring tab to marked transducer blanks
Perform high-quality point-to-point soldering on small assemblies
Conduct quality checks on finished assemblies
Collaborate with production management to meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
Prior experience in electronics assembly, soldering, or similar manufacturing work preferred
Ability to work under a microscope using small tools and perform highly detailed tasks
Proficiency in reading and following work instructions, blueprints, or schematics
Steady hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications a plus
Strong commitment to accuracy, cleanliness, and teamwork in a production setting

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
