About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position in Ohio. This 60-day assignment begins on 07/14/2025, and offers full-time coverage Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating high complexity patients with chronic illnesses coupled with substance abuse issues who have limited access to healthcare. As a primary care provider, you will work alongside a comprehensive health team to provide essential medical care. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Family Practice Physician looking for a rewarding temporary assignment with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide primary care services to high complexity patients

• Manage chronic illnesses and address substance abuse issues

• Work collaboratively with a comprehensive health team

• Conduct patient examinations and develop treatment plans

• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate

• Refer patients to specialists when necessary

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using eClinicalWorks EMR

• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices

• Adapt to the unique challenges of treating patients with limited access to healthcare

Additional Information:

• Valid Ohio medical license required

• Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
