Job Summary

The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for managing day-to-day mailroom operations including receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages. The role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and a commitment to timely and accurate service. The ideal candidate has prior mailroom experience and can work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and sort incoming mail, packages, and deliveries (e.g., UPS, FedEx).

Distribute mail and packages to appropriate departments and personnel.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely distribution.

Operate standard mailroom equipment as required.

Ensure mailroom area is organized, clean, and compliant with safety protocols.

Assist with any special delivery or shipping requests as needed.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience in a mailroom or facilities role preferred.

Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication skills and a customer service mindset.

Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

Familiarity with mail tracking systems and commercial delivery services (UPS, FedEx, etc.).

Experience in a corporate or healthcare office environment.
