Position Summary

The Data Entry Specialist will work closely with the purchasing team to ensure accurate and timely entry of purchase orders, maintain purchasing records, and support the smooth operation of our procurement process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter purchase orders into the procurement system and maintain up-to-date records

Collaborate with buyers to verify order details, pricing, and delivery timelines

Track open purchase orders and incoming shipments, updating records as needed

Communicate with suppliers to collect and verify required documentation

Research and resolve discrepancies in purchase orders and receiving processes

Assist in preparing purchasing reports and documentation for management

Support the purchasing team with additional administrative and data entry tasks as required

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all data entry and record-keeping activities Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in business or administration is a plus

5+ years of previous experience in data entry, purchasing, or administrative support preferred

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry systems

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
