Overview:

Exciting opportunity to join our clinical team as a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This position is the perfect fit if you are interested in working with a medically challenging patient population, particularly patients with substance use disorders, learning something new every day, and working in an underserved area. To be a successful Nurse Practitioner at ReGenesis Health Care you must be able to deliver primary medical care, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), to a wide variety of patients, be proficient with in-office procedural skills (or willing to learn quickly), and work with a team of physicians, nurses, and medical assistants.

The Advanced Practice Provider in this position will primarily provide Medication-Assisted Treatment of substance use disorders to patients across our locations in Spartanburg, Cherokee, Union, and Greenville counties.

Excellent salary range of $92,000 - $105,000 based on experience with excellent full-time benefits.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited-Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant Program.

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant by the respective South Carolina State Board.

Proficiency in providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders.

Must maintain a current certification in Basic Life Support techniques. Duties and Responsibilities:

You will diagnose and treat acute health problems, and manage chronic diseases.

You will order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.

You will prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary for adult and pediatric examinations.

You will interpret and make appropriate decisions based on pertinent laboratory and clinical findings.

You will promote positive health behaviors through education and counseling.

You will complete timely documentation in the EMR for each patient encounter and review patient medical records for accuracy, and completeness as outlined in policy.

You will prescribe treatment plans for management/care for patients and families according to protocols and refer appropriately.

You will perform basic in-office procedures such as: IUD, Nexplanon, Pap, Endometrial Biopsy, Knee/Shoulder/Elbow/Wrist/Thumb/Heel Injections, nail Removals, Skin Biopsies (Punch/Shave), Cyst/Mole/Skin-Tag Removals, I&D, Basic Suturing, and Wart Cryotherapy.
