Job Title: CNC Machinist – Tool & Die / Manufacturing

Location: 13040 Aiken Road, Louisville, KY

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time On-Site

Allegiance Staffing is hiring a CNC Machinist on behalf of a customer located in Louisville, KY. This company specializes in tool and die work and offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will be a skilled CNC Machinist with experience operating mills, lathes, and a strong grasp of G-code programming and blueprint reading.

Position Overview:

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines (mills/lathes) to produce precision parts based on technical drawings and specifications. This position plays a critical role in ensuring part quality, equipment functionality, and overall production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts to specification

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings

Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools

Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with minor repairs

Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Record production runs and document machine settings accurately

Support additional shop functions such as manual machining, secondary operations, and shipping/receiving

Wear appropriate safety equipment and follow all company safety protocols

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred

Minimum 5 years of Master CAM experience

Ability to program 3D

Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak)

Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and specs

Proficient in using precision measuring instruments

Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail

Ability to work independently or as part of a small, collaborative team

Must be able to work 40 hours per week and overtime as needed

Maintain excellent attendance and reliability

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled facility

Exposure to oil, grease, dust, fumes, and loud machinery

Must be able to:

Lift/push/pull 10–50 lbs.

Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motion for up to 10 hours

Work in dusty or dirty conditions near moving mechanical equipment
