Job Title: SCM Data Analyst
Location: Teaneck, NJ
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled SCM Data Analyst to support Hanwha’s supply chain planning and performance through data-driven insights and process optimization.
This role will focus on collecting, organizing, cleansing, and analyzing data from various systems (SCM, CRM, ERP, POS, etc.) to support accurate forecasting, inventory planning, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has an academic background in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering and strong experience in programming languages such as Python for data processing and automation.
Bilingual proficiency in Korean is preferred to support communication with HQ and Korean-speaking teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract, clean, and organize data from internal systems (e.g., SAP, CRM, POS) for SCM planning and analysis
Perform detailed analysis of inventory levels, order status, sales trends, and forecast accuracy
Rebuild and classify existing data structures to improve reporting consistency and visibility
Develop and maintain automated scripts using Python (or similar tools) for data transformation and reporting
Create and deliver regular dashboards and reports to visualize key SCM metrics (e.g., forecast vs. actual, PO aging, inventory turnover)
Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and HQ SCM teams to align supply planning with sales demand
Support the monthly AP2 forecast process by consolidating model-level sales projections
Work closely with warehouse and customer service teams to track inbound shipments and allocate inventory
Identify data issues and proactively work to resolve discrepancies between POs, shipments, and system records
Support strategic projects by building datasets and ad hoc analysis as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related
field
1–2 years of experience in data analysis, supply chain planning, or business operations
Proficient in Python or similar programming languages for data manipulation and automation
Strong experience with Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Familiarity with ERP and SCM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Bilingual in Korean and English (speaking, reading, writing) preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment
