IT Portfolio Management Functional Analyst

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into business data to improve IT investments.

As an IT business analyst, you’ll oversee leading-edge data analytics products and system compliance frameworks. Guiding your team of data engineers, data visualization analysts and other functional subject matter experts, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop operational, organizational and technical solutions. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to system owners, IT portfolio managers and IT leadership.

You Have:

7+ years of experience working in DoD Financial Management

Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Knowledge of major financial management business systems owned by the Department of Defense and the organizations that use those systems

Knowledge of Federal accounting and compliance standards, such as the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act of 1996 (FFMIA), the Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS), the Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS), and the Federal Financial Management System Requirements (FFMSR)

Ability to communicate with and advise executives on financial management and financial statement audit matters

Ability to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions for problems independently, and ask the right questions when information is needed

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience using dashboard and web applications on Advana

Experience using the DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR)

Experience putting together response packages to audit inquiries, Prepared by Client (PBC) requests, Executive Orders, and executive-coordinated documents.

Ability to manipulate and integrate data from multiple databases using SQL, Python, or other languages

Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
