HIRING CNC OPERATORS IN BROOMFIELD, CO

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to support our manufacturing processes by operating and maintaining CNC machines. The ideal candidate will ensure machined parts meet specifications from work instructions and blueprints.

PAY: $20.00HR - $24.00HR (BASED ON EXPERIENCE/OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVANCEMENT)

SHIFT: WEEKEND SHIFT OR 2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE

7:30AM - 7:00PM, FRIDAY-SUNDAY ($1 shift differential)

3:30PM-2:00AM, MONDAY-THURSDAY (11% shift differential)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The CNC Operator will be working independently on 2 Okuma Lathes (L250-2-E) & (Proteract 1630 SLX which is a hybrid of a CNC & Manual lathe).

The majority of parts you will manufacture are the same, although they vary heavily in terms of size and are high precision under very tight tolerances.

Responsible for running a pre-programmed machine and ensuring that machined parts meet criteria from work instructions.

Will be doing some work on manual bandsaws to cut material before machining process.

Responsible for working directly off of blueprints.

Load and unload parts utilizing pre-programmed CNC mills.

Perform others tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1 + years experience CNC machine operation.

Must be able to perform set ups and work off blueprints .

Ability to machine parts under tight tolerances.

Ability to perform quality inspection on their parts using CMM machine, and hand tools such as calipers/micrometers.

Experience deburring metal parts after they have been machined.

Previous experience on an Okuma Lathe is a PLUS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
