Job Title: Hardware Operator

Job Description

As a Hardware Operator, you will ensure specified hardware is installed accurately using blueprints and prepare pick lists for inventory. You will position and align bolts, dies, and fixtures, adjust machine settings for depth and pressure, and deliver the first piece for inspection.

Responsibilities

Verify hardware installation using blueprints.

Align and bolt dies over the anvil and ram of machines.

Prepare pick lists for required hardware.

Adjust depth and pressure limits of ram stroke.

Deliver first piece for inspection of dimensions and hardware location.

Align holes of workpieces with the machine anvil.

Position hardware over an anvil or against fixtures.

Operate semi-automatic machines by filling hoppers with hardware.Essential Skills

1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Stable work history.

Ability to read blueprints and distinguish colors.

Capability to bend, lift, and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Perform repetitive work for extended periods.

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience setting up and operating Haeger machines preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills with dynamic leadership team collaboration.

Work Environment

The Hardware Department is located near the Press Brakes, Turrets, and Quality Department. Candidates must be proficient in using blueprints and willing to assist in other areas. The position involves working the 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
