As a casual Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

Set schedule: Must be available for any shift/day/hours/location as needed. You are on call to replace supervisors when they call-off. To be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities for Flex Security Supervisor:

Integrate GardaWorld's core values into all business practices.

You understand this is a leadership on-call position to take the lead when supervisors call off.

You also know that this expectation is to work at least 2 shifts a week, or 4 in the same pay period. You can do more, by saying yes more.

You will supervise day-to-day security services, ensuring the highest standards are met.

Assist in developing and implementing staffing schedules, payroll, and reports.

Maintain operational logs, records, and post orders.

Build and sustain effective relationships with clients and employees, serving as the liaison between GardaWorld and our clients.

Aid in the selection, orientation, training, and development of staff.

Promote a zero-incident safety culture and manage robust safety programs.

Regularly review security officer schedules to enhance operations and reduce costs.

Respond to operational emergencies with timely communication and accurate reporting.

Provide exceptional customer service to clients.

Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.

Control access by screening guests, employees, vendors, and others.

Conduct security patrols of the facility by foot, car, or golf cart.

Issue appropriate badges to personnel.

Write detailed reports and enforce client procedures and regulations.

Maintain vehicles and equipment according to procedures.

Obtain CPR/AED certification within two weeks of offer if not already certified.Qualifications for Response Security Guard:

QUALIFICATIONS

You have at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) in hand.

You are able to to pass a thorough screening process.

You have strong professional demeanor and reliability.

You have a valid PILB in hand.

You have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

You have strong work ethic!

You are at least 21 years of age (per legal requirements).

You are a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized.

You have at least one year of supervisory experience in security as a Shift Lead or higher.

You have at least 2 years’ experience in security in a fast-paced, complex environment.

You are results-oriented with strong organizational skills.

You are self-motivated and exhibit a sense of urgency.

You have stable work history with excellent communication skills.

You act with integrity and demonstrate resilience and adaptability.

You have that competitive spirit with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

You have the eager willingness to engage in all aspects of the business.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position supervises security officers.

Work Environment:

Active role with varied site-specific environments, involving significant walking, driving, and interaction. Routine use of standard office equipment and vehicles are expected.

Physical Demands:

Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.

Must be able to lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.

Involves using hands for handling tools and controls, reaching with arms, and climbing stairs.
