PRODUCTION OPERATOR
$20.00/Hour
$2.00/Hour - Shift Differential

ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position involves daily production, staging steel and bundles for upcoming runs, loading and clearing units, visual and physical inspection of steel color, profile, gauge, and quality, control of output profiling sections with work drawings.
DUTIES:
Operate overhead crane to load and unload steel coils
Work safely, following all safety procedures
Create list orders for production
Stage bundles for upcoming run
Loading and clearing units
Ensures that any task performed within the work cell is completed in accordance with the written Standard Working Operating Procedure(s) for that task.
Contributes to an ongoing culture of cleanliness and order within the workstation/cell.
Prepare and make chemical recipes for the production of insulated foam.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during operations.
Interpret and understand technical specifications, instructions, and measurements.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and timelines.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum High-school Diploma or equivalent.
Well-organized
Attention to detail and accuracy
Mechanically inclined.
Able to monitor proper functioning of equipment
Experience handling hand and power tools
Excellent Communication Skills.
Able to work in team, and independently
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
You will be working in a brand new, natural light filled, State-of-the-Art Facility in Walker Michigan.
Does get warm in the summer months
