Position Overview

Packer ensures that orders are packed securely and shipped out correctly and within cycle time.

This position works Monday through Friday 6AM-2:30pm.

What you'll do

Complying with all facility safety rules and regulations.

Reporting any unsafe practices and/or conditions to their supervisor.

Wearing required personal protective equipment properly and reporting any defective PPE.

Reporting all near misses, accidents, injuries or illnesses, including Musculoskeletal symptoms or disorders.

Lifting is required.

Some packages may weigh up to 70 lbs.

You will be on the dock from time to time

Who you are?

High school graduate

Ability to use and read a tape measure

General knowledge of fabrics

Ability to use hand tools

Successfully pass color blind test

Regular attendance is required

This job operates in a production environment

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

Standing up to seven hours or more per shift

Must be able to complete various activities that may require lifting or carrying in all directions

Occasionally pushing / pulling while moving carts and buggies

Occasionally ascends or descends ladders

Frequently operating machinery and hand tools

All other duties as assigned
