Description:

The Grain Operations position performs the day-to-day grain elevator tasks while maintaining a positive and safety-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

Paint grain equipment

Perform routine maintenance and repair grain facility equipment

Adhere to safety policies

Maintain the grounds; mowing, weed eating, etc.

Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge

Ability to operate equipment

Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals

Ability to follow established processes.

Ability to handle multiple tasks

Ability to work from elevated platforms

Desire to learn

Education:

Must be 18 years of age

Experience in agriculture environment or farm preferred

Physical Requirements:

Able to stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time

Able to sit, bend, climb ladders, and reach over head

Able to hear effectively on a phone and, or radio

Able to lift 50+ pounds
