Accounting Manager â Investment Firm/Family Office

Hybrid- Los Angeles

Our client is a private investment company looking for their next Accounting Manager. In this role you will focus on the accounting and financial records for numerous entities including individual family members, investment partnerships/LLCs, trusts, corporations and other special purpose entities.

Responsibilities

Manage the monthly close process for various entities, including bank reconciliations, accruals, account balance reconciliations, and required journal entries.

Reviews and approves bill pay, deposit receipts, and journal entries

Manage funding/logistics for new investments and financings

Cash flow reporting, projections and planning

Compiles year-end information for all family office entities for tax department

Assist in audit preparation by compiling supporting schedules and responding to auditor inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

Liaise and develop strong working relationships with internal service team members

Qualifications

5-7+ years in accounting, ideally including public accounting

Family office experience a plus

Must have Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance, (CPA required).

Experience with Sage a plus
