Key Responsibilities: You'll be handling everything from designing and deploying distributed on-prem infrastructure to making sure it runs smoothly day-to-day. This involves monitoring the system, fixing issues quickly and figuring out how to avoid them in the future.

We invest in you and cover the cost of certifications relevant to your job. We also reimburse some of the cost for books, audiobooks and online video courses. What You Will Do: Facilitating the development and deployment of infrastructure of various products on on-prem hardware.

Support architecture, building and configuring of a hardware lab.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services. The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing proactive measures to prevent service disruptions.

Administering and upholding infrastructure on-prem.

Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code to deploy services in an on-prem environment using IaC tools such as Ansible. Automating deployment procedures to ensure the robustness and scalability of services.

Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, maintain, update/upgrade PostgreSQL databases.

Troubleshoot and resolve installation, infrastructure and system issues.

Proactively and independently identify, report, monitor, and mitigate technical risks. Basic Qualifications: Five (5)+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education. Relevant certifications may be substituted for education or years of experience

U.S. citizenship required

Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph is required

Experience with CI/CD pipelines in a containerized environment

Experience enforcing project DevOps processes to ensure consistency of deployments

Full software lifecycle automation experience (design, development, test, deployment), including deployment to a production environment.

Strong knowledge of Linux, including system administration and troubleshooting.

Proficient in configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.

Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, and management.

Ability to develop in multiple programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.

Familiarity with Git and development tools, including deployment pipelines.

Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with Virtual Machines

Experience with Networking

Experience monitoring application performance with metrics (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana) and logs with ELK Stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana)

Have, or obtain Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification Location Fort Eisenhower, GA (Appx 50% hybrid telework) Salary Range Pay Range $150,000 - $230,000 (Plus benefits) The pay range for this job level is a general estimated guideline only,and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
