Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, home of Reddi Whip and Blue Bonnet, is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St, primarily on day shift, and report to the Senior Automation Engineer. You will support daily operations by implementing Automation/Electrical/Instrumentation (AEI) projects to achieve our performance goals. You will assist with electrical and network system installation, instrumentation, troubleshooting and repairs. Develop AEI work priority lists with Operations and Facilities Teams and ensure compliance with current electrical safety rules and regulations across the site.
You Will:
Research, plan, and maintain hardware and software interfaces with the operating system.
Analyze present or proposed business procedures or problems to define data processing needs
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration.
Support and document all electrical, instrumentation and standalone systems throughout the plant.
Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and peripherals.
Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes.
Collaborate and network with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related technical field.
3+ years of programming and/or system analysis experience.
Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and development (RSLogix500, Studio5000, FactoryTalk View SE/ME, Ignition).
Experience with motor controls, VFDs, sensor integration, servos, and high-speed processing.
Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays if there is a critical need for the systems being supported.

Compensation: Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
