About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Administrator with a strong background in accounting and financial systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who understands the intersection of finance and technology and can support critical business functions across Oracle Financials, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and Orbit Analytics. Having a solid foundation in accounting principles, experience in enterprise financial reporting, and hands-on expertise in supporting Oracle EBS modules and reporting tools as well as Oracle Enterprise Command Center (ECC) is a strong plus.

Act as the primary functional administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle E-Business Suite Financials modules, including Human Resources (HR), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA).

About the Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with a technology-based emphasis, OR Associate's Degree (with an additional 2 years’ experience) OR High School Diploma / GED (with an additional 4 years’ experience).

Five (5) years of experience programming, designing, and implementing computer application systems including at least three (3) years with large scale enterprise systems.

Strong working knowledge of application design, implementation and support of systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, network, server infrastructure, virtual systems, database, and cyber security.

Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information and apply it to corporate goals.

Experience developing business information flows and business process modeling and analyzing business requirements.

Ability to write technical documentation, procedures, and correspondence.

Strong interpersonal communications skills and professionalism.

Required Certifications or Licenses:

Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.

Preferred Experience:

Two (2) years Accounting or Finance experience

CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

General understanding of accounting standards (GAAP and GASB)

Experience monitoring system integrity, performing troubleshooting, and resolving issues affecting financial data flows or process automation

Experience opening Service Requests (SR) with Oracle support when necessary and work with the technical team to patch or alter system and perform functional tests and troubleshooting.

Experience with the implementation and administration of Oracle Cloud EPM with a focus on planning, budgeting, and forecasting as a backup to the primary EPM functional administrator and to backup/restore and clone environments

Experience with creation and execution of functional test cases, reconciliations, and validations, documentation of results, and resolution of discrepancies in collaboration with appropriate teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting outputs particularly after upgrades or patching of EBS and/or Orbit

Preferred Certifications or Licenses:

Oracle Database Administrator Certified Associate

Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional

Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) certification

Current Microsoft server certifications
