$22.00/hr Starting; $23.56/hr After Completion of Level 1 (Around 90 Days)
Shift
3rd Shift; 6p-6a, 3 days one week and 4 days the next; includes every other weekend

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Exercise and promote safety
Set up dies to prepare for production
Obtain production schedule and have dies loaded, ready for production
Be available at short notice for unscheduled changes in production
Polish dies from previous run
Work with die repair personnel to achieve a greater level of knowledge and understanding in the use and function of extrusion dies
Understand BSA for related work areas
Understand the hazardous chemicals utilized in the department
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: Ideally 3 months’ experience at UAC
Certifications Required: Confined spaces certification; Crane certification; Fall protection certification; Forklift certification; Lock-out/Tag-out certification; Pallet jack certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively listen and communicate ideas and thoughts to others; able to assimilate ideas originated by others
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; basic understanding of Algebra and Trigonometry
Reasoning Skills: Ability to carry out and communicate written and/or oral instructions; ability to learn how to operate complex machinery; able to coordinate and accomplish a variety of tasks simultaneously
Physical Abilities: Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands; must be able to lift 50 pounds at any time during his/her shift; the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Safety
All UAC employees must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Employee must understand the PPE and wear it properly.
