LabView Specialist

Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled LabVIEW Specialist for a short-term contract to support the development, testing, and debugging of a LabVIEW application used to control and interact with a test fixture. The software architecture has been defined, and the goal is to finalize the application and verify its functionality in a test environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, program, and implement LabVIEW-based software for a custom test fixture

Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of the application to ensure proper function and reliability

Collaborate with internal engineering teams to align on technical requirements and implementation details

Provide limited onsite support as needed to interface with hardware during testing and validation

Deliver a fully functional and verified LabVIEW program as the final project deliverable

Qualities

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering discipline preferred

Proven experience with LabVIEW programming (LabVIEW Certified Developer preferred)

Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and test automation

Ability to work independently and deliver on a defined timeline

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Availability to be onsite as needed to work with physical test fixtures

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly range: $60 - $85/hr.
