Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for delivering materials to the production floor, maintaining the general upkeep of production and warehouse areas, assisting the material control department with receiving materials, and identifying and verifying the quantities of all incoming materials.

Responsibilities

Handle, move, and store various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within the warehouse.

Load and unload different transport items.

Record inventory statuses accurately.

Ensure deliveries properly match purchase orders.Essential Skills

Experience in a warehouse environment.

Proficiency in using a forklift and pallet jack.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to read and analyze information.

Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.

Excellent time management skills.

Process improvement mindset.

Knowledge of inventory control.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced production area with tight quarters, where eye protection and protective shoes are mandatory. Loose clothing is not permitted. This position involves working in a basic production work area with crucial deadlines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
