Data Visualization Developer

FWI is seeking a Data Visualization Developer to support the Congressional Research Service (CRS). This position will create user-friendly data visualization tools and interfaces that enable CRS analysts to effectively interact with and understand complex data sets.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

Work Schedule and Location:

Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with occasional on-site requirements at the James Madison Building of the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

Develop dashboards, interactive graphic tools, and user interfaces

Create optimal user experience design products

Provide graphic design and multimedia support

Critically analyze technical advantages and limitations of various formats, styles, media, and methods

Ensure data visualization tools are accessible to users with varying technical expertise

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree digital graphic design or data visualization

3+ years of professional software development experience

Technical expertise with the following:

Beginner friendly software such as Tableau

Customizable data visualization software

Graphic design and multimedia support

Development of digital interface products (dashboards, interactive graphics, user interfaces)

User experience design
