Job Description
FileMaker Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom FileMaker solutions that streamline business workflows. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, write complex scripts, and integrate FileMaker with other systems for seamless functionality. Additionally, the developer provides ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of databases to ensure peak performance. They also assist in training end-users and staying up to date with the latest FileMaker advancements. Strong problem-solving skills, relational database expertise, and a proactive approach to improving development processes are essential for success in this position. This role ensures that the company’s contractual obligations with the US Government are met in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner. Specifically, it involves being the central point of contact for the creation, management, and submission of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and other contractually mandated deliverables. The role requires balancing data accuracy, understanding regulatory requirements, and coordinating across various internal teams to ensure that all documentation meets both the company’s standards and government specifications.
A typical day might involve reviewing data deliverables to ensure compliance, coordinating with internal stakeholders (such as engineering, finance, or quality assurance teams) to gather or verify information, updating or maintaining data management systems, and meeting submission deadlines. The analyst would frequently communicate with project managers, engineers, and contract administrators to align on current CDRL statuses and address any challenges that could impact submission timelines. Regularly updating progress on deliverables and resolving any compliance discrepancies would also be a daily focus.
What is the work environment like (Culture, team size, facility, dress)?
· Culture: Often fast-paced, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Given the role’s connection to government contracts, attention to detail and adherence to protocols is paramount.
· Team Size: Typically, this role works within a small team from the PMO, engineering, and contracts, but can collaborate with larger project teams at times.
· Facility: Office environment with access to secure data systems for sensitive CUI contract management.
· Dress: Business casual
Is there remote/hybrid flexibility for this role? What does that look like?
A hybrid flexible work schedule might be possible, once TRU has secure, cloud-based access for CDRL and contract management tools. However, this may be limited by security protocols, particularly for government CUI data. A likely arrangement would be in-office to collaborate with team members and working remote every other Friday.Company Description
