FULL DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for a Sales Operations & Inside Sales Specialist to streamline our sales workflows and support inbound lead conversion. This hybrid role is critical to maintaining operational excellence while directly contributing to revenue from our direct sales channel. You'll be the key connection between sales, marketing, and logistics, ensuring every lead and order is handled with precision and speed.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Create and execute a sales plan.
Manage inbound leads from web, marketing campaigns, and tradeshows; qualify and route them appropriately.
Understanding of competitors and market trends that are impacting product utilization by customers
Sell company products, develop new accounts and nurturing existing accounts with a focus on increasing overall revenue.
Prepare quotes and assist with order tracking, pricing, and customer follow-up.
Provide forecasting and reporting as required on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
Maintain CRM systems to ensure clean, updated pipeline data and forecasting accuracy.
Coordinate logistics for demo kits, samples, and customer onboarding.
Assist in developing and maintaining sales collateral and standard operating procedures.
Generate weekly/monthly sales reports and dashboards for leadership.
Support the commercial team in managing customer onboarding documents and communications.
Travels for meetings, conferences, and client visits as needed.
The selected candidate will also possess:
Bachelor's degree or above in life sciences required.
2-4 years' experience in inside sales or sales operations, preferably in biotech or life sciences.
Strong working knowledge of NGS, genomics, and/or molecular biology preferred
Solid understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong in Excel and reporting tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in a customer-facing role with ability to communicate basic technical information.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Salary Range: $80k-$100k/yr
