Building Management Systems Engineer

Job Title: BMS Engineer

Location: Holly Springs, NC (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced BMS Engineer to lead and support PLC-based control systems for a pharmaceutical facility. This includes equipment within the Central Utility Building (CUB) and Drug Substance Manufacturing (DSM) area.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and implement Siemens and Allen-Bradley control systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external system integrators (e.g., Rovisys, Cognizant).

Support integration with BMS, VDS, PI Historian, and related systems.

Review and support life cycle documents, system design, and automation requirements.

Attend project meetings and coordinate across workstreams (Automation, Utilities, CQV, etc.).

Ensure systems meet data integrity and FDA cGMP compliance standards.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with Allen-Bradley control systems.

2+ years of project management experience.

Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to lead teams and manage vendor resources.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Kneat, Compliance Wire, Track Wise, or Veeva.
