Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and maintaining adherence to established accounting standards and internal controls. This role leads the accounting team and contributes to financial strategy and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the general ledger and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff.

Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders.

Provide support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.

Maintain compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.

Contribute to annual budgeting and financial forecasting activities.

Enhance and implement efficient accounting processes and internal controls.

Deliver financial insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.

Solid knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.

Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under tight deadlines.Company Description
