We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our LimbLogic team! This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values quality and would like to contribute directly to the creation of industry-leading vacuum systems and accessories designed to improve the lives of amputees.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for understanding and following all work instructions to provide production and quality control measures for the assembly of vacuum systems and accessories in the LimbLogic department. This associate is responsible for preparing and assembling vacuum systems and accessories. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
The essential responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
Comprehends and follows all work instructions
Prepares raw materials to be assembled for all vacuum systems
Assemble and package all vacuum systems
Inspects production for quality
Other duties as assigned by supervision and required within the facility
Essential Skills Required:
This position requires prior experience and/or proven ability to manipulate small parts by hand during the assembly process. The ability to sit or stand on concrete floors for extended periods is required. A high school diploma or equivalent educational achievement is required; must have ability to read and write at least at a 10th grade level.
Physical Demands of the Job:
The minimum physical requirements needed to perform this job include:
Ability to stand, use hands, fingers and arms over 2/3 of the time
Ability to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl under 1/3 of the time.
Ability to talk and hear on a regular basis
Ability to lift 10 to 25 lbs. under 1/3 of the time.
Vision ability includes Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
Work Environment:
Exposure to the following environmental conditions may apply.
Working near moving mechanical parts over 2/3 of the time
Working around or near fumes or airborne particles including toxic or caustic chemicals over 2/3 of the time.
Vibration under1/3 of the time
Working around moderate noises, (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic)
