JOB SUMMARY

As a Class A CDL Delivery Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in serving our customers by safely transporting products from the warehouse to various client locations. You will ensure timely delivery and unloading while following customer invoices and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unload products from the trailer, either by hand or using a hand cart, in all weather conditions and place them in designated customer storage areas according to instructions.

Complete all paperwork as per company and governmental guidelines, ensuring accuracy in logs, inspections, maintenance reports, and invoices.

Adhere to food safety protocols, maintaining product temperatures and preventing cross-contamination while keeping the truck sanitary.

Build strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service and clear communication.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience, or completion of a tractor trailer driving school.

1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience is required; food and beverage delivery experience is a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledgeable in DOT regulations and safe lifting practices.

Skilled in driving distance, terrain navigation, and customer communication.

Able to drive tractor-trailer units, operate equipment, and communicate effectively in English.

Capable of performing basic math functions and planning work activities independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must regularly lift, push, and move product weighing up to 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 350 pounds using a hand cart. Involves climbing in and out of a tractor and trailer, reaching, bending, and twisting during loading and unloading processes. Visual requirements include close and distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

May encounter wet, hot, cold, or humid conditions, as well as moving mechanical parts. The position usually involves an overnight schedule with potential weekend and holiday work.
