As a Software Integration Engineer III, you’ll play a critical role in automating the deployment and sustainment of mission-critical tools and technologies within complex High Performance Computing (HPC) systems. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

Leading the integration, installation, configuration, and upgrade of COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software

Automating infrastructure as a service (IaaS) deployment through zero-touch provisioning (ZTP)

Developing and maintaining Bash or Python scripts to automate recurring tasks and workflows

Executing and supporting Linux system administration activities

Writing clear and concise documentation for full-stack deployment and configuration procedures

Implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins

Using Ansible to orchestrate configuration management and provisioning

Supporting containerization and deployment using Docker

Collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, iterative environments

Providing software product ownership and sustaining HPC toolchains and software stacks

Utilizing Git for version control and contributing to collaborative codebases

Monitoring system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen

Must have a Top-Secret clearance with FS PolygraphCandidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field + 8 years of relevant experience

5 years of full-time, directly related Computer Science work (in lieu of a degree) + 8 years of relevant experience

A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field may substitute for 2 years of experience

An industry-recognized professional certification may substitute for 1 year of experienceRequired Skills:

Linux CLI proficiency and hands-on experience with Linux system administration

Strong scripting abilities in Bash and/or Python

Proven ability to integrate, install, configure, and support COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software

Experience using Ansible for automation and provisioning

Familiarity with HPC system components (compute, network, memory, storage)

Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins

Experience with Docker for containerization

Proficiency using Git for version control and collaborative development

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Familiarity with Agile development principles and workflows

Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

Compensation Range: $203,000.00 - $223,000.00

The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
