Phlebotomist II - Roseburg OR

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Range: $19- $22/hour

Position Summary

As a Patient Services Representative II (PSR II), you will represent the face of the company to patients seeking routine care or critical health insights. Your responsibilities will include drawing high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for lab testing, and ensuring patient comfort and confidence throughout the process. This role requires leadership behaviors, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages (including pediatric and geriatric)

Accurately label, process, and handle specimens per protocol

Verify patient identification and documentation to ensure compliance

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collection site

Provide exceptional customer service and explain procedures clearly

Work independently and travel to multiple sites as needed

Uphold all safety, privacy, and company guidelines

Additional Duties

Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection

Verify demographic and labeling accuracy post-venipuncture

Maintain required documentation and records

Serve as a positive representative to patients, clients, and the public

Handle high-volume environments and shifting priorities with confidence

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, capillary collections)

2+ years in a Patient Service Center preferred

Customer service or retail experience beneficial

Other Qualifications:

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)

Flexible schedule (including rotational Saturdays, holidays, on-call coverage)

Strong communication and data entry skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
