**Aerotek's client is looking for Controls Installers/Electricians to join their team and assist with commercial project across the U.S**
**Job Description**
+ As a Controls Installer, you will operate under the supervision of the site superintendent and collaborate with a team of professionals to install low-voltage building automation and HVAC control systems in commercial structures. This role requires expertise, professionalism, and dedication to ensure the efficient installation of building automation systems, particularly within military installations. Your contributions are critical to the success of our projects, and high standards of performance and safety are expected.
**Responsibilities**
+ Travel to multiple states to perform work at various military installations.
+ Install conduit up to 1" EMT & Rigid.
+ Install low-voltage cabling and sensors.
+ Install low-voltage control panels.
+ Wire and terminate low-voltage control panels and associated devices.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in conduit and wire installation within a commercial setting.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints.
+ Willingness to travel full-time.
+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
+ Ability to pass a clean background check.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in the installation of commercial building automation and HVAC control systems is preferred.
+ OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certifications are advantageous.
+ Journeyman electrician or similar field with three years of industry experience, or ten-plus years’ experience in servicing mechanical equipment control systems in the HVAC industry.
+ Systems integration and development work on Niagara / Tridium-based systems is a plus.
+ Knowledge of commercial control systems, facilities management systems, energy management practices, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation, and servicing techniques.
+ Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in a professional manner.
+ Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals.
+ Leadership skills to support technicians working on complex building automation equipment.
+ PC experience required, including the ability to program facility automation controls related software.
+ Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.

**Work Environment**
+ Most work is conducted on military bases, necessitating full-time travel. The role involves interaction with sophisticated building automation technologies and requires adherence to safety and performance standards.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
