Commercial Sr. Electrical Engineer/Project Manager - PE Licensed

Job Description

- Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 pending experience and qualifications

- Years of experience: 15+ years with PE license

o Familiar/Experienced in MEP design work and codes that apply NEC, ASHRAE 90.1, etc.

o Experience in different market sectors: Education (K-12), Healthcare, Hospitality, Office/Mixed-Use, Multi-family, etc.

- Reviewing and Revising Lighting design and Power design in commercial spaces

- Project Management Skills / Leadership Qualities

o Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and communicating both internally and externally

§ Electrical Team consists of 8 electrical engineers and 3 CAD operators

§ One additional Electrical Principal

o External contacts would be owners/architects/contractors

o Project planning with project engineer

§ Establish goals for project and deadlines

§ Deliver clear scope description with project engineer

§ Track project progress through to Construction Administration phase

o Collaboration with Principals in office

§ Budgeting and proposals

o Reviewing submittals, writing specifications on project-by-project basis

- Familiarity of design software, does not need to be proficient (Visual, AutoCAD, Revit, SCC Analysis)

o Must be able to interpret drawings produced and anticipate project timelines based on personnel and scope of work

General Information:

- Critical Work Hours: 9am-4pm

o Flex hours +/- 2 hours (i.e. 7am – 4pm), typical hours 8am – 5pm

- In-Office work style

o Highly preferred to be present in office 5 days a week,

o Flexible based on circumstances

- Start Date: Dependent on candidate, typically approximately 2 weeks after agreementCompany Description
