CNC Machine Operator - Contract to Hire

A contract manufacturing company is looking for a CNC Machine Operator. This is a contract to hire opportunity in Tyngsboro, MA.

Shift of the CNC Machine Operator:

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm -2:00am (OT on Fridays possible

Pay Rate of the CNC Machine Operator:

$23-$25/hr DOE

Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:

Interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications to plan machining operations.

Set up and configure CNC machines, including inputting instructions, establishing zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation, and verifying part programs.

Load raw materials and workpieces into machines.

Verify machine settings by measuring positions, conducting first-run inspections, and evaluating sample workpieces.

Maintain quality standards by monitoring operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, and replacing worn tooling.

Ensure production goals are met regarding cycle time, quantity, and quality.

Requirements of the CNC Machine Operator:

Minimum high school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
