Netorian LLC has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager at The Office of Budget and Finance in Baltimore County Maryland.

Baltimore County seeks a qualified Senior Project Manager to manage, communicate, and coordinate Public Safety projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing Office of Information Technology (OIT) projects and day-to-day operations. Experience with Public Safety and a PMI PMP certification are required.

Duties and Responsibilities.

Manage IT project work.

Oversee day-to-day project management, address issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Ensure work aligns with scope, requirements, and is on time and budget.

Identify critical paths, tasks, dates, and testing criteria; suggest efficiency improvements.

Monitor and resolve issues for status reports.

Exhibit strong writing and oral communication skills.

Prepare meeting agendas and handouts.

Minimum qualifications:

7+ years of successful Project Management experience with large, high-profile projects

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

PMI Project Management Professional Certification

Experience in business process, software, and/or hardware implementation using Waterfall or Agile methodologies

Creation and management of project documentation (SDLC and PMI)

Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word

Executive-level presentation and communication skills

Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities

Availability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Strong oral and written communication skills

Must currently possess Project, Program, Portfolio, or Agile management certificate from PMI

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint

Government entity experience (Federal, State, Local)

Ability to pass a comprehensive background check by the Baltimore County Police Department

Experience supporting public safety systems

Security Requirements:

Security badges issued by the County to be worn at all times on County facilities

Ability to pass a comprehensive security background check by the Baltimore County Police Department for employment approval
