Start Date: 6/23/2025
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50–$23/hr
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Patient Service Center in Bridgeport, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality blood draws from a diverse patient population including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established practices and procedures
• Verify patient identification and label specimens in the patient’s presence
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Provide superior customer service while explaining procedures and building patient trust
• Float to cover multiple locations on short notice as needed
• Utilize computer systems for accurate data entry and patient documentation
• Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, and the public
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience required
• At least 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Must be bilingual (Spanish/English)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification required in CT
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood draws
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
• Must be able to travel and work flexible hours across multiple sites
Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
