Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk

Needed for a growing HVAC Mechanical firm.

This person will be responsible for but not limited to:

Receive, review and verify invoices for data entry into the accounting program.

Route all invoices to the correct person for approval

Work with purchasing department on all unreceived invoices

Ensure accuracy of process with correct cost coding.

Reconciliation of vendor /subcontractor statements. Provide problem resolution assistance between vendor and purchasing department to resolve discrepancies.

Perform all tasks related to accounts payable in an accurate and timely manner.

Assist with month end closing

Maintain the confidentiality of organizational information

Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a professional setting, preferably in the construction industry, knowledge of general accounting procedures, proficient in data entry and management, be a team player, have excellent skills in MS Office, excellent oral and written skills in the English language. Must be detailed oriented, have the ability to complete projects timely and accurately and work well with others in a fast paced environment.
