We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager & Office Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our financial success while also ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.
Position Overview:
As the Accounting Manager & Office Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, maintaining office efficiency, and supporting company growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage accounting functions, provide financial insights, and ensure our office environment supports productivity and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed.
Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Office Management Duties:
Oversee day-to-day office operations, including facilities management, vendor relations, and supply procurement.
Develop and enforce office policies to maintain a professional and efficient work environment.
Coordinate meetings, events, and team-building activities.
Support HR functions, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing administrative needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years of accounting and/or finance experience; CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
Strong business acumen with a proven ability to provide actionable financial insights.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred but not required.
