Project Architect

We are seeking a Licensed Project Architect to lead architectural production efforts across multiple divisions. This role will focus on quality control, coordination, and collaboration throughout all phases of design and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (30%)

Interpret and apply construction codes to protect public health and safety

Oversee documentation standards and internal quality control processes

Sign and seal construction documents for assigned divisions

Project Coordination (30%)

Lead and motivate Project Leads to meet success criteria across design models, lot specifics, and revisions

Ensure consistency across all division projects and enforce architectural standards

Exercise independent judgment in project decision-making

People Management (20%)

Mentor team members and influence up to 10 indirect reports

Support hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations

Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%)

Partner with Architectural Business Partners to align on project direction and innovation

Contribute to special initiatives like code updates, design reviews, and new technology integration

Qualifications:

Active architectural license

Strong experience with construction documentation, team leadership, and multi-division project oversight

Proven ability to manage quality assurance standards and mentor junior staff
